Joshua Quintong's research entails biophysical studies of transcription factor binding in the context of eukaryotic gene regulation. Specifically, he uses single-molecule and high-throughput techniques to probe nucleosomal and naked DNA binding by the pioneer-like transcription factor Wor1. He also have experience designing protein-based, FRET-interpretable biosensors for the detection of various small molecules.
